Thinking about a Career in Lashes? Here’s where to start.
September has a way of putting us back into learning mode.
Maybe you’ve been thinking about a career change. Maybe you’d love the flexibility of working for yourself. Or maybe you’ve always loved beauty and have been wondering if you could turn that interest into a skill - and eventually, a business.
Lash extensions can be a great place to start.
You can work in a salon or studio, build your own clientele, or create a professional home-based lash business that fits around your lifestyle.
But before you begin taking clients, proper education matters.
Lash extensions are a detailed service performed close to the eyes, and learning the right techniques, safety practices, lash health, styling and application from an experienced educator gives you a much stronger foundation to build on.
A special lash training opportunity this October
Our October 23 & 24 Classic + Volume Lash Class is a little different from our regular lash training.
For this class, we’re including UV Lash System education along with Classic and Volume training.
That’s not something we normally include in this particular course, which makes this a special opportunity for anyone wanting to learn multiple lash techniques and explore UV education all in one class.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of Classic and Volume lash extensions, including isolation, application, styling, lash mapping, fills, removal, aftercare and working with different eye shapes and natural lash types.
You’ll also be introduced to the UV Lash System and how this technology can be incorporated into a professional lash service.
More than just lash training
Lashes are one part of what we teach at Lipskin.
Our training opportunities also include:
Lash Lift & Tint
Brow Lamination
Permanent Makeup
Facials
Demaplaning
Waxing
Whether you’re starting from scratch, adding a new service to an existing business, or continuing your professional education, our goal is to give you practical, hands-on training that you can actually use.
Could lashes be your next career move?
One of my favourite things about teaching is watching students take a new skill and make it their own. Some go ont to work in established studios, others build their own clientele. Some start from home and grow from there.
There isn’t one right path. The important part is starting with good education, plenty of practice and the confidence to keep learning.
If you’ve been thinking about getting into the beauty industry, October 23 - 24 could be a great time to start.
